TEC
has selected the Bandwidth Exchange Building at 210 North Tucker
in downtown St. Louis as its campus. This location provides unparalleled
access to bandwidth and data resources and the carriers that provide
it: locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Together with its sister building, the Bandwidth Exchange Building
at 900 Walnut, our building is the home to St. Louis’s and the Midwest
region's largest concentration of telecommunications, Internet and
data infrastructure. The Bandwidth Exchange Buildings boast a significant
presence from almost every major voice and data provider in the
region with fiber and other connectivity from over thirty (30) different
providers.
The Bandwidth Exchange Buildings are home to multiple Internet
service providers, large web hosting companies, collocation and
data center providers, and corporate information technology outsourcing
specialists. The Bandwidth Exchange Buildings also feature redundant
power facilities, air conditioning facilities, and a comprehensive surviveability design.
The availability of multiple providers and built-in redundancy allows
the Bandwidth Exchange Buildings to offer its tenants incredible
cost savings in terms of local loop and other connectivity. There is maximum reliability with short distances from
provider to user and systems redundancies. Small amounts of bandwidth are easily
available at great prices but incredible amounts of bandwidth can
be made easily available at a moment's notice.
