Chris Dornfeld
Entrepreneurship Collaboration Director, Olin School of Business, Washington University

In August of 2004 Chris Dornfeld joined Washington University as the Entrepreneurship Collaboration Director, part of the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, serving as the primary interface to faculty, the community and students involved with start-up ventures. Mr. Dornfeld brings an extensive network of relationships and experiences to this role, most recently as the Founding Partner of I2V Ventures a commercialization and business development company, and the CIO/Director of Technology for the City of St. Louis. As CIO Mr. Dornfeld served as a key advisor to the Mayor, introduced a performance management program, served as regional co-chair on homeland security in addition to reorganizing the City’s technology department.

In addition to his past experiences as an Architectural Designer for HOK (the world’s largest architecture firm) and the Director of Corporate Strategy for a regional Internet service provider, Mr. Dornfeld has served on the board and is involved with numerous not-for-profit organizations. In 1999 Mr. Dornfeld was named one of the "40 under 40, most promising young business leaders" by the St. Louis Business Journal.
